Scarlett heard that there was a Vocaloid going to the Shinu Building on a dare, and she was interested in scaring her senseless while she was there. Even if she had to overcome her fears of the strange house, Scarlett knew it would be fun. After a little while, Scarlett arrived at the building, just as the Vocaloid did. She squinted to see who it was, and it was the one and only Rin Kagamine. Scarlett smiled mischievously and silently followed her. Scarlett hid behind a tree just as the Vocaloid turned around to see if anyone was there. Rin opened the door to the building, and Scarlett followed. Scarlett climbed up a pole, and silently jumped on each pole, following Rin.

Rin Kagamine, her eyes widened, tried not to let the nerves get to her as she was slowly heading down the old, worn and cracked sidewalk. She didn't want to be where she was right now, and inside, she really wished that she could just turn around and head back to the home. But of course, that wasn't going to be an option. All just because of some stupid game that they all just HAD to play... It all started this afternoon, over lunch. As usual, Rin was left with figuring out what they were all to eat, as well as getting to preparing it. They were simple grilled cheese and tomato sandwhiches, the one thing that the whole group was up for at the time. And so, while Rin was making the sand which, Kaito, who seemed to enjoy cracking jokes, told Rin that she should go and give a sand which to one of the ghosts at the Shinu Building. This simply made the girl roll her eyes. So what if she believed there to actually be living dead in the building, it was her own opinion, one that she could back up due to former experiences. Not even laughing at the joke, Meiko seemed to like it, and so, doing things the way she normally did, she krept up on the younger Vocaloid, whispering into her ear. "I'd do it if I were you, unless you want me telling the others the reason why your scared of the place.." At those words, Rin, gulping slight, nodded, making an extra grilled cheese and tomato sandwhich, one for someone just barely less alive then she was.
Now, she was where she currently was, walking in the middle of the night down to the very much cursed Shinu building. As much as she didn't want to believe that the place did have ghouls, goblins, and everything in between, she had reasons why that couldn't be true. But all the same, she was going to heading down there. A brown paper bag clutching tightly in her left hand, Rin's butterflies in her stomach got heavier and heavier, the further that she went, and it seemed that the butterflies were going to carry her way at any moment. Her plan was to get into the building, get into the center of the place as quickly as possible, burn her 'sacrifice' of a sandwich, and be out of there in ten minutes, at the most. But as things always seemed to turn out, it wasn't quite as expected. Not nearly.
After a few moments, which seemed to drag on forever and ever, the blonde haired teenager at last made it to the building's entrance, and, taking in a deep, shaky breath, she stepped inside. As soon as she saw the cob-web infested walls, and the blood-stained floors of the building, already was she ready to turn tail and head home. But again, she reminded herself that she had to, needed to do it. There was no turning back now, as she had already entered. Though, she did have to admit, there was some part of the building that made her feel uncomfortable, something that last time she came in, she didn't feel. In the back of her mind, Rin Kagamine had the horrid feeling that she was being watched.

Scarlett looked down at the obviously scared Vocaloid from above, silently giggling, "This is almost too easy...", just then, Scarlett lost her grip on the wooden pole, and almost fell, but he nails dug into the wood just in time. She breathed heavily, regained her balance, and kept jumping from pole to pole. After a while, she ran out of poles to jump on. Scarlett noticed Rin pondering about whether to go upstairs or not. It seemed like she was about to, despite the fresh blood on the steps. "Time to have a little fun.." , Scarlett thought to herself. She made some eerie noises with her mouth, and slammed her hands and feet on the walls and other objects. When Rin looked up in Scarlett's direction, she quickly, but quietly crawled to the railing on the stairs. The blonde Vocaloid shivered and walked towards the first stair step, but Scarlett sliced off some of her hair, dipped it in some of the blood, and threw it on the step. Rin squealed and jumped back. Scarlett tried her best not to laugh while she jumped from the railing, and ran down the hallway. Rin must've noticed Scarlett, because she followed where she jumped. The redheaded Utau looked behind her and noticed Rin in the distance. Scarlett leaped onto the ceiling like a cat and stayed there. "Woah, I guess being programmed with cat-like abilities was a good thing after all." , Scarlett thought. Rin walked right under the Utau, Scarlett smiled, and began singing... Kagome Kagome.... .....

Rin continued on her slightly freaky trek, looking back and forth still even, making sure that there was nothing, and she means nothing, in her way to scare her, or even to haunt her. Today, the blonde haired girl wasn't in the most peachy mood, and certainly not in the mood for a scare. Hence, she wasn't in any way in the mood to be in the building, and in fact, never ever really was anyways. Just because of the stupid dare. The. Stupid. Pointless. Dare. Those idiots.... They all could be sometimes, especially Kaito, who always seemed to crack jokes, even at the most tense, unexplainible moment, he would, out of the blue, crack some silly joke, that almost always was directed at someone else that wasn't him. Meiko was an iditiot as well, but in a different way. She was elusive, sly..and no one would ever really suspect her, or even want to be mean to her, due to her looks. Sometimes, Rin thought that Meiko, just because she has a nice body, can just do whatever the heck she wants to do, whenever the heck she wants to do it. That same thinking of hers was no doubt how the fourteen year old got into the current mess. And without a twin brother at her side, at that. No one around, just her, and maybe, maybe...ghosts.
Still very fearful, Rin also had the feeling in the back of her mind that she was being watched and followed, but by who or what, she didn't know. Was it one of the other Vocaloids, here to stalk her and make sure she doesn't chicken out, or was it a spirit of some kind, there to find the perfect time to strike. Maybe...maybe it was a spirit, but instead of wanting to make her time scary and well, miserable, it was just curious. Maybe the spirit hadn't seen a real human for a long time, and longed to see what it was like to be a physical being. But even that was a bit too freaky to comprehend. Rin just hoped it was all in her head. Her thought seemed to be even further confirmed, as she heard a few eerie, moaning noises from overhead. Instantly frozen with fear, Rin moved her head back and forth, wondering if the creature was one she could see. As of now, she couldn't see a thing. Biting her lip, she knew she needed to carry on, and so, taking in a deep inhale, she continued on. Exhale. She stepped further through the building, taking more cautious steps. Inhale. Yet again she could hear movement that was not her own in the otherwise silent hals of the Shinu Building. Exhale. Rin was almost certain that she was being stalked, or even preyed upon. Inhale. She had had enough of this....
Upon exhaling again, Rin began hearing a voice, again from above her. It was a song, the creepy kind, like you would hear in a horror. The song...it sounded almost like her name, being song in a soft, but sickening way.
Kagome Kagome.....
She heard, and upon hearing this, the frightened young teenager, shakily spoke to the spirit, or whatever it was stalking her. "W-Who are you..?" She nervously asked, barely being able to speak to the being. "A-A-And...what do you want?"

"Hehe, I love messing with her.." Scarlett muttered to herself. She replied to Rin in her most creepy voice, "Oh, my dear girl, I don't want too many things, but, what I do want, is your soul. And, who am I? Well, that doesn't matter now, does it? Because, you are about to die.." Scarlett laughed maniacally as she saw the fearful look on Rin's face. She crawled on the walls like a spider, and jumped onto one of the poles. Scarlett readied herself to pounce onto Rin, and emitted a high screech. Rin yelped and leaped out of the way as Scarlett fell. "Ow..." Scarlett groaned. She stood, brushed herself off, and yelled like a demon, "YOU SHALL PAY FOR THAT!!!!!" She reached out to Rin and grabbed her, pulling her to her face. Scarlett's dark sea green eyes slit like a cat's, and burned with rage. She giggled. "I think you'll make a great subject......" .
