Ah, today was certainly a wonderful day to enjoy the park. It was 'round mid-afternoon, yet the cloudy sky made the sun bearable, if not slightly chilly. Not being a fan of the bright fireball from hell, Milo was certainly grateful for that. Mixed with the lovely songs of the birds and the lack of people around for once, the young Utau could actually be having a nice time for once. If he remembered how to, he might have given a faint smile. Instead, a placid look washed over his features- yet it still managed to put off a cold atmosphere, as if such an aura was natural to him.
He exhaled momentarily as he sat on one of the many benches in the area- particularly by the fountain, which had a lovely hissing sound from the flowing water- and relaxed, simply taking in the sounds and air, with eyes looking to and fro in case of trouble. One could never let their guard down too much, even while alone.

Rin didn't enjoy the weather- not one little bit. For one, it was much too chilly for her taste, as she normally dressed for the heat of the summer, most of her clothing consisted of such attire. It made it that much more challenging for her to dress for a chilly Fall day, such as this one, though she did manage to come up with an outfit for the day, it consisting of a light Maroon dress, one that was made of denim, embroidered with yellow thread. She wore a pale off white poncho with tassels in the same color, embroidered with red flowers, green buttons keeping it together. She wore on her feet a pair of simple maroon shoes, wearing off white wool leg warmers over top. She finished off the outfit with a simple maroon beret resting on the side of her head. Of course, while this was quickly tossed together, she still managed to keep it as tasteful as possible. Once this was done, Rin headed out into the open hair, sneezing directly upon impact. The Fall seemed to make her nose feel all out of wack, for some reason, but hopefully, this could be avoided today. As she had plans.
Today was to be a day for relaxation, a day for her to walk about in the red, orange, and yellow leafs-strewn streets, possibly taking a trip to the park to enjoy it's buisiness and relaxing energy that it almost always had. Though you could say that Rin was a modern city girl on most days, there were times when she shined through as a Small-Tow person at heart. Today was supposedly one of those days. The park wasn't very crowded, which surprised the blonde haired girl at first, but she figured that this was normal, considering it was about the time that everyone would be getting done with lunch, and so many people wouldn't be expected for at least another half and hour. But all the same, there were the few people that she noticed were out and about today, such as a few young children playing in the leaves, their mother and father sitting on a bench together not far away, watching, as well as an older woman who was enjoying her Schnauzer's company on a walk through the park. But there was one person in particular, who didn't seem as lively as the latter of them, and this sparked the younger Vocaloid's curiousity. She wondered what this boy was doing, this boy with pale white skin, jet black hair, and a black eye patch crossing over one eye. He seemed a bit tense, for some reason, and Rin, though wanting a day for her own, figured this a great way for her to possibly get to know people better, and maybe even earn a new fan. Yes, it was for certain that this man would become her fan, for certain.
Loitering around him for but a few minutes, the girl, who suddenly was a bit nervous, managed to chipper up enough to speak to him. "Hey There, Mr! Somethin' wrong?" Rin asked, using her sweetest voice, which today, being a somewhat good day, made it easier to use. All would be perfect with the day, as it was so far, if it just wasn't so darn cold.

Milo sighed ever so lightly as the cool breeze once again rustled its way through the trees, the overall atmosphere oozing with a special kind of calm feel one normally could only find in the colder seasons. In fact, such an atmosphere could also put one to sleep in they were tired enough, and though Milo happened to be fully rested at the moment, he supposed he could close his eyes for just a moment. After all, the amount of people remained small and dispersed for the moment, and he might as well enjoy the moment while the day was young, and fresh. He figured that the day would warm up by tomorrow, but now, that did not matter. What mattered right now was the lovely fresh scent in the air, the beautiful song of the birds, the chatter on the squirrels, and not a singer disturbance to be-
As if someone had taken a hammer to a mirror, such tranquility broke apart within a matter on seconds when a painfully sugar-filled tone of voice. His single eye snapped open immediately, yet his body couldn't have moved slower as he stared at the destroyer of peace with a cold, slightly irritated expression. He definitely wasn't putting off a welcoming mood right now, but that was the point, was it not? He seemed to trace the figure- which appeared to be a young girl- with that one eye cautiously, deciding whether to just leave, or take the offense depending on if she was a threat or not.
Now, the girl, considering what a cheerful person she looked to be, seemed to not be attempting to stir up anything, though the boy still had his doubts. What really stuck out to him though was the... oddly put together attire she wore. To be frank, it confused him greatly, as the colors were not bright enough to annoy him to no end, but it seemed so frilly and bouncy that he found it added to his annoyance. Perhaps he simply did not care for dresses. Or, maybe the leg warmers were what threw it off. Whatever the case, it matched what he'd seen of the girl so far, and he honestly was not pleased by it. Though, it was more the fact that she was another being, another existing creature that had approached him. He wished to leave, honestly.
However, he found himself unable to stand. Something about this girl intrigued him- mainly that she'd approached him in the first place, as his appearance was normally enough to keep others at bay. However, she did seem a bit scared- nervous, even- which frankly caused his interest to grow. If she was on the skittish side though, she definitely was not a threat for the time being- though everyone became one eventually, making that small detail minuscule in retrospect. He maintained his irritated look though, figuring he could get her to leave eventually if he pressed on. He did answer though by shaking his head once as a 'no,' and leaning back against the bench with crossed arms, still watching her every move.

As Rin Kagamine awaited a reply from the older person, she decided to take that short amount of time to look over hi, better then she had before. With straight, boring black hair, and plain black and white clothing, the young man didn't look like much of a person that Rin would spend all that much time focusing on, especially in her ever-so-busy life being herself. But of course, as most people she encountered tended to have, this certain young man had a feature that...interested her. This feature to him wasn's his nose, it wasn't his eyes...well, you could say that it was, though really, it was what was covering the eye the caught her eyes. over one of his plain brown/blackish looking eyes was a black eye patch, going across the side of his face. It almost reminded the female Kagamine of a fellow Vocaloid, Oliver, who had to wear an eyepatch himself, though it was whit instead of the pirate-like black this person wore. Now that she did think of it..Rin slightly wondered why exactly he had on the eyepatch. Was it because he lost an eye, or that it was swollen? Or was it just because it was a cool fashion accessory? This somewhat scary looking man didn't exactly strike Rin as the sort of person who did things like that, so she doubted it was so. All the same, this black haired young man was someone she was interested in, and, considering it to be rare, it was definitely something for her to look in to. Even despite the fact that she wasn't in the greatest of moods, and he didn't seem to be either. Especially so after she spoke to him.
His one eye shooting open directly after Rin said what..a whole three words to him? The man was relaxing, or sleeping, or something of that sort, Rin had just figured out, and so she couldn't help but feel slightly bad about waking him, or distracting him from whatever for of meditation he was doing. Maybe some kind of Emo-Pirate meditation, or something like that.... But, to say the least. This. Man. Was. Not. Happy. Not at all. Obviously, he was pretty pleased by just laying there, doing absolutely nothing. Or, at least more pleased with doing that, then to be talking to the blonde haired Vocaloid. Giving the girl a freaky, annoyed glare, Rin simply smiled through it, pretending as if she didn't notice the frown he gave upon noticing her. The black haired person looked at Rin with his one eye, seeming to examine each and every little bit and part that made up of her. Though she didn't want to think about it, she couldn't help but feel as if he was looking into herself, and was going to suck it out of her. He certainly looked the part. Having yet to speak in a reply to the Twin, Rin decided to head around to the other side of the bench, peering in front of his face. The young man still seemed to want to avoid the blonde, and turned his head around in attempt of avoiding the girl completely. This...this didn't work in any way, and probably, never would. Rin was smarter then that, and didn't intend on leaving the dude just because he looked away. In most cases, 'ignoring somebody until they walk away', doesn't work out, and in fact, often times makes it escalate. So, if this young man doesn't wish to be given a hard time by the fourteen year old, then he better turn himself around and talk!
As it turns out, she still didn't manage to get anything out of the shady looking person, and for a minute there, Rin didn't even expect to. Luckily, he did actually move his body again, turning himself to face her. Holding her breath, the short haired blonde girl waited eagerly to see if he would speak, if of course he could speak. Rin never did know, as he could very well be a mute. if that were so, she'd feel pretty awful, considering she is currently pressuring him to speak in reply to her. Beginning to have her doubts, Rin Kagamine still watched the jet blacked haired young man, and a few moments later, he quickly shook his head, telling Rin, 'no' with it. Her heart dropped, and for a second, her face turned a light pink. That was all? That was all she managed to get out of the man? Feeling a bit bad, she did quickly realize that she could get him to talk to her, she just simply had to pry a bit more, and try a bit harder. And that she indeed would do. Still looking at him in the same way, Rin gave him a little pat on the head, raising her eyebrows. "Really?" She questioned, as if he would actually reply to that with anything other then a nod 'yes'.Knowing that this would do little bit carry on the conversation, she decided to come up with some small talk. "Soooooo.what were ya doing then, mister?"

Despite his cold attitude towards this girl, she simply smiled at him, which in response brought an arched eyebrow out of the black-haired male. How could she stay so happy? Was this person insane, or simply not intelligent enough to comprehend that being looked at in such a way was not a positive action, and should not be responded to as such? It confused him greatly as he pondered the concept over inside his mine. Unless, or course, she was simply ignoring it- which only made less sense to the boy than the prior possible reasoning. Whatever the case, the girl simply put up with his actions, and before he could react any further, she'd come around to face him directly. The surprise from this action wished to show itself, and though Milo hid it quite well, it could be noted if one looked closely enough.
His brows furrowed at the girl's anticipation to his answer to her statement. Why would she be so eager for his answer? Surely, it could only point to the conclusion that the girl was studying him as much as he was studying her, and the idea displeased him greatly. The more someone knew, the less they could be trusted- because they had more of an opening to destroy you that way. However, so long as he did not let on too much, and got this woman to leave quickly, the situation wouldn't escalate too much into... actual conversation. Or so he hoped. Upon his answer though, she seemed rather surprised, and he could see the faintest signs on a flush... Well, that was interesting. Was the fact that he'd not talked thrown her off by that much? He resisted the urge to grin, seemingly the slightest bit amused by her reaction. He quickly shook that off though, for he'd decided long ago not to display any signs of enjoyment around others. It simply taunted them to try and get closer... which would only lead to further betrayal. His face darkened slightly at the thought, only giving a nod when the girl wished to confirm his answer. He was fine- and would be finer once this strange girl was gone, or so he thought.
He stared at the girl once again as she asked what he'd been doing. Boy, was this girl persistent, and she definitely wasn't going to leave any time soon. He rolled over the possibilities of what to do next in his mind. Should he just leave? The idea seemed most reasonable, and yet... he didn't want to just yet. The presence of the girl interested him quite a bit still, and for one reason or another, he wished to investigate her further. He gave a heavy sigh- which happened to have a trace of a mechanical grinding sound to it- as he pulled something out of his pocket. The objects were revealed to be a pen and a notebook, and he quickly scribbled onto the paper with it, before showing it to the girl. Upon reading it, it would say, 'Why do you care to know?' He definitely was not going to answer the question directly- any extra information he gave this girl would probably be used against him later, wouldn't it? Nonetheless, he still waited for an answer, his face displaying the faintest hints of inquiry.
