Dear Diary....
Since I never got a chance to write in you while on tour I figured I would tell you everything that happened on it now.
The tour started nearly right after I arrived at California, having a concert that day in LA where I sang Blue Bird, Silver Bullet, and a few popular American pop songs that escape me right now. I spent the day after recovering from the extreme jet lag. After that I was able to see the sites in LA, it was cool seeing such a big city that was not in Japan, plus the open space around the entire place was amazing, I never thought I would get to see such sites.
Next I was scheduled to perform in Vegas, I could not believe how long of a car ride the trip was! I kinda wish America had a bullet train system, it would make traveling by ground a lot faster and easier. When I reached Vegas it was already time for my concert, so I had to change quickly and performed the same songs that I did for my concert in LA. Afterwords I was able to have free roam of the area, amazed by it all. I even got to go to a local gun shop and try out a few guns, surprising the shop owners with my accuracy and ability with a gun. I guess most people don't expect a singer from Japan to like guns, especially one who had some of the more girly songs at times.
The next day was a flight out to Denver, which I have to saw has pretty scenery around it. The mountains we flew over were so big! I never thought I would see any that big at all! The USA just keeps surprising me with it's scenery! I wouldn't mind going on vacation here to get away from a city every now and again. Denver was the same concert with the addition of a rock song that I had learned on the flight over that I felt I should add to make my concerts a little more varied.
After the concert I was actually able to go to the rockies, I spent a few days hiking considering I had a while before I had to go to Atlanta on my next stop. The best part of it all? I got to see a bear while in the woods, a BEAR! It was amazing yet scary!
My Atlanta and New York concerts were scheduled too closely together for me to see much of either city, but from what I saw I was impressed with the scale that both had been made. At my Atlanta concert I surprised the entire crowd when I sung Mozaik Role in English for the first time, I was surprised by the response, having worried that it would be received badly. This just strengthened my resolve for my next surprise at what everyone seems to call the "Big Apple".
I was able to at least see a few of the sites before the concert, sadly I was flying back to Japan the next day so I wasn't able to see as much as I would have liked. New York was big and crowded, and that's all I really have to say other than the skyline being amazing to look at. The concert was held in Time's Square, and as packed as the footage I saw of what New Year's was like in the city. Not only did I include Mozaik Role at the concert, but I also closed on a high note with my English remake of Love is War. The crowd response to this surprise was amazing! I do not think they had expected me to turn such a popular song into an English one just for them!
Sadly, early the next morning I had to take the plane ride home, and here I am now, exhausted and getting over jet lag yet again.[/size]
