Ala has a pale complexion, which matches his messy snow white hair. He has a skinny build, as he is 5"8' and weighs 150 pounds While his eyes are strange, one being of a red color while the other is a green color. His daily attire consists of several things. He normally wears a white undershirt underneath a light black vest. Over that Ala wears a red overcoat with a belt buckle on each side. His pants are baggy in the legs, not so much towards the waist,and his shoes are just simple tennis shoes. Also, on the back of Ala's neck there is a blue star with a red circle in the middle.

Ala is an over all friendly utau, as that is what his creator made him to be. He is more often happy than sad, but Ala can still experience a full range of emotions, but will occasionally have random mood swings due to some programming errors that his creator made. He normally goes along with other people when it comes to activities, and he always tries to get along with everyone that he meets, but that does not always end up happening the way he planned. Ala is also gullible and loyal to friends, being too trusting when it comes to other people. Then if Ala is not doing anything, he just becomes really, really lazy.

Ala was created by a lonely programmer who went by G, originally for one sole purpose, to have his definition of the ultimate friend. So the programmer made and constructed many different parts and programs for his utauloid and spent much time creating all of the synthetic parts from the voice to some of the organs like the brain, heart and digestive tract. Though G could never really understand how to perfect the programs pertaining to Ala's emotions, when ever Ala would be awake for some testing runs, he would occasionally experience some random mood swings Then around the time that Ala was nearing completion, then the programmer remembered about the vocaloids, how they could sing and make people happy. So, G eventually added a wider range of vocal abilities to Ala so he could sing. And G had tried many things through trial and error, so if Ala ever broke down, he had a whole lot of spare parts to choose from.
