Rin Kagamine is a young girl that stands at quite the short height, what with her only being 5'0" at the age of 14. She has a petite frame, also being very light, weighing 95 lbs, at least the last that she even wanted to check. She often, compared to the other Vocaloids, appears to be very small and fragile, which is quite true, even though she has a little bit of muscle build to her body, it isn't enough to compare. Rin's skin is very pale, and doesn't normally ever get much of a tan, even if she spends lots of time outside in the summer. Normally what happens is that she gets sunburns in the most annoying of places, such as the shoulders, elbows, and the face, regardless of applying sunscreen or not. But, fortunately she is lucky enough to not be one of those teens who is cursed with getting zit after zit after zit, and only gets one on the occasion, which she is quite good at getting rid of as quick as they come. Her hair is a very light blonde color, normally looking a little bit messy. It reaches to her shoulders normally, unless she decided to curl it a little bit, or put them into twin ponytails. Rin has a tendency, though, to keep her hairstyle very simple, just brushing through it in the morning and calling it good. After all, her hair is quite straight, and doesn't normally get knots or anything in itself. Her eyes are a pretty blue color, that sometimes has a bit of a shine to them, but lately have seemed a bit dulled out. The usual outfit that Rin wears is what she was created wearing, a white blouse that is quite baggy, but doesn't go all the way to her waist, normally exposing part of her stomach. It imitates that of a sailor's uniform, what with it having the tie to it on the colar, in the color yellow. It has the same black collar of a sailor, with the back of the collar loose and in the shape of a square. The top is sleeveless, with yellow ribbon where there would normally be sleeves. The same ribbon is found along the bottom of the top as well. She then wears black shorts, made out of thread. It is the exact same color of black as on her blouse. The shorts have four pockets on them, two front and two back. Rin also wears a yellow belt that goes through the loops, with triangular impressions in it. On her feet she wears a pair of simple white shoes, with a yellow heel and bottom to them. She also has on a pair of black legwarmers with a yellow rim along the top. It is supposed to go along with the arm bands that she wears, the same black, with the same yellow rim on the bottom and top as well. There is this bue rectangle on the band, and some mistake it to be a button of sorts, but it seems to be more of an accessory. To finish her outfit off, Rin wears a headband in the color of white, with a headphone on it that she can turn on and off, as well as a large white bow plopped on the side of her head. Two white hairpins are places on both sides of her head, as to keep her bangs out of her face.personage:

Rin Kagamine is quite the complex Vocaloid, often having different emotions or different opinions at different. It can really change depending on the day, or maybe even how people treat her. She is quite fickle, and the way that she acts overall is affected by who is around her at the time, as well as the situation or location. Normally she tries to act as mature as she can, but often times this girl's emotions get the best of her. She is, after all, just getting started with her puberty, so having mood-swings is quite common, in her defense. Often Rin can be quite the bit bossy, as she doesn't really like do do much herself. After all, what is the point of having someone that you don't want around you with you, if you can't make them work or help you? She is quite persuasive, so normally she gets what she wants, but not always. There are some close friends of Rin, who can see past the bossiness, and know that it is best to not help her out, as it is really just a way that she copes with stress, making people do things for her. Because in all reality, Rin Kagamine is quite the lost and lonely young girl, scared to death about the Master and what he wants and threatens them for. All of the short life that she has lived has felt quite unreal to her, and because of this she doesn't even feel like a real person. This makes her a little bit dull and lifeless, if you ever catch Rin at a time when she isn't trying to hide away her feelings, which is quite rare. Being mature a part of the time, Rin feels that around others, she needs to put on a smiling face, an act, despite the hurt, fear, and confusion floating around in her. She acts as efficient and polite as she can around adults, as well as sweet and playful around the younger people that she meets. Rin doesn't really enjoy it, but tries her best to be active in the lives of her fans, and always tries to get the other Vocaloids to do promotions for their performances, whether it be silly thing, or maybe even things that will really get the people to have a feeling for them. Rin just feels like she has to put her life into the music, as that was, of course, what her life was about in the first place. Rin can be a bit stubborn and fussy at times, especially when someone is trying to get her off her couch in the morning when she doesn't feel like leaving it. Rin can be known to get angry and lash out verbally at people who disturb the little peace that she has. Rin prefers to keep things to herself, and do things when she wants to do them. Rin isn't exactly lazy, if you really think about it, but likes to keep to her own schedule. So all in all, despite how Rin's feelings take up most of her inner self, she tries her best to stay as loyal and pleasant as can be, as well as being one of the most active out of all of the Vocaloids when it comes to the music part of it.

Rin has a few likes and dislikes, but for the most part she seems to think that liking things is a waste of time for her, when she is controlled and all, and isn't even her own person, at least how she sees it. Rin enjoys candy, especially Rolos, her one true weakness when it comes to food. She doesn't really know why, but for some reason the caramel, as well as the chocolate coating on the Rolos make them hard for her to resist. Also, the ability to just pop them into her mouth is quite convenient, as well as easy to chew. Another food, or foods, you could say, are most citrus fruits. Whether it be Lemons, Limes, Oranges, or whatever, Rin is quite the fan of them. She for the most part likes sour things, and eats them right up if she gets the chance to. Rin is a music writer, so you could call this both a hobby and a like, as it is something that she really enjoys, coming up with her own songs. Normally she will keep them to herself, but you never know, maybe someday she will show them to her fellow Vocaloids, or maybe even perform them in front of a crowd at a concert... Rin likes being around her fans for the most part, as it makes her feel quite nice to feel loves by other people for what she does, as the people in the crowd cheering her on is one of the few reasons that she even keeps going with this anymore. A dislike of Rin is most anything that is salty. Mainly Pretzels and French Fries are what turns her taste-buds south. It has always confused her as to why those two foods ever caught people as being tasty, They were just a pile of salts and heaven knows what else. Rin hates the Winter season, and normally this is the time of year where she locks herself in, and doesn't like leaving for any reason. It is just too cold for her, and Rin always has had a fear of betting frost bite, or even getting stuck in a pile of snow. All of the dangers of the Winter are what keeps Rin away from it. A Pet-Peeve of Rin's in when people who often times seem to ask Rin for favors. Even if it is simple, it annoys her, sometimes to the extent that she flat out yells at the asker. She isn't a maid, and never intends to be. It also annoys Rin when people refer to themselves in the third person. They aren't Neanderthals, so why should they be speaking that way in the first place?

Rin just seemed to wave up one morning, and she existed. There seemed to be very little that she even remembers, and little by little does she start to recall things about it. It was like this for the most part:
Rin was created by the Master, and at first she stayed with him. It seemed almost as if he was found of her. The Master used to be close to Rin, and for the longest time she spent with him, Rin loved him, almost like a father. Until one day, when Master told Rin what she was, and what she was made for. All of the time up to that, Rin thought that she was actually the daughter of the Master, and that she was just the closest. Rin became enraged when she heard about the news, and said some pretty nasty stuff to the master. He got angry, so he kicked her out, removing any memory of the place from her system. And so for awhile Rin was wandering the streets, until she was found by another Vocaloid, and started living with them as she should. Rin remembers close to nothing about her past with the Master, as well as any past life. All that she knows is that the Master has a larger hatred for her then most other Vocaloids, the reason she had yet to figure out herself.
