Some of you may be long time roleplayers and know all about the roleplaying business, but possibly new to the system of this forum. Don't you worry - it's not as confusing as it looks.
Okay so. You've read the rules, made your character, and are ready to jump into the action! But...how?
Do you see how each forum is the name of a place? Yes, they will be the settings for the roleplay! Say you want your character and another to meet in the practice space. Then just click on that board and click create thread. Give it a creative title and the roleplay can begin! But the roleplay bust be in the setting of the board. For instance; you cannot say that you are in the park if the thread is located under the 'streets' board.
And yes, if you want to change locations, you must change threads. But if the scene will only be a few posts about being on the street and then change to the mall, then just start the thread in the mall. A few posts off scene will not be a hassle.
To mention another rule; yes you can have one character in different threads at the same time. How this works is the scenes are implied at different times. Also, be careful about how many threads you have going. Not being able to handle them all is awful.
So, see how it works now? I hope this thread took away some of your confusion. If you have any other questions feel free to post here or contact an admin.
