Gumi yawned as she climbed out of the taxi and trudged up towards the mansion that was her home. She had spent the last month in the United States on tour as a way to raise awareness that she could now sing in English, sure it wasn't perfect but she could. There were still a lot of glitches in her English voice, she had discovered it while practicing before one of her concerts. There were certain things that she couldn't pronounce correctly in English, mostly since they were completely foreign sounds to her voice.
Then again she had also noticed that her voice glitched here and there when speaking Japanese, though it was not nearly as often as it was back when she first got her voice back. Her thoughts were caught off as she stepped up to the door, a smile lighting up her tired face before she tested the handle, sighing in relief as the door opened before her. She dragged her bag in and closed the door behind her before calling out to whoever it was that was home. "I'm home!" she called out before simply flopping onto a nearby couch face first. She was dressing in her usual, short shorts and tank top cut to show her stomach.

Anyone who had happened to be in the Vocaloid mansion and managed to find their way into the kitchen or bathrooms would find a real surprise. They would most probably find a Tsukiko which is really weird because he is an Utauloid. Not a Vocaloid. Well, not really weird to those who knew him for awhile. He was there at the mansion to just do a routine check on the pipes and fix whatever needed to be fixed so that his fellow performers wouldn't have to hire a plumber. They were probably already tight on cash and Tsukiko still had quite a bit of free time so he would do free work for the utauloid's more advanced counterparts.
Anyway, the blue haired (currently acting as) plumber was finishing up his work in the kitchen when he heard someone announcing themselves in. One person really. Tsukiko replayed the voice in his mind and figured it was probably Gumi. He didn't really know her that well but was able to recognize her voice since he edited quite a few of her songs.
Moving on, he continued back to his work for a few minutes then decided to go on break once the brownies he had made in the oven were finally finished. Yeah, he had been making brownies on the job but, honestly, who cared? Tsukiko then cut a few brownie chunks from an already cooled batch, got out a few bottles of milk and went to the living room where Gumi was. Deciding on a small seat next to the Vocaloid's couch and the table, he sat down. "Hey Gumi. Welcome back home. I heard you've been doing a tour? Oh yeah, and help yourself to brownies and milk."

Gumi groaned tiredly as she proped er head up on her hands, looking at whoever it was that was speaking to her. She was too tired to even register who it was by voice alone. She blinked a few times at the man before it registered to her who exactly it was, it was Tsukiko, a Utauloid who did work around the mansion for free. Was he the only one home though? No one else had come out to greet her after all.
"Hey Tsuki-san, yeah I was on tour in the United States in honor of my English voice. I do not want to go back there for a few years though, it's pretty out there, but the distance and plane rides are exhausting. I would much rather make a full tour of Japan, at least that's done in a few weeks," she stated in a somewhat whinny voice as she pushed herself into a sitting position, rubbing her eyes sleepily.
"The jet lag is what gets you the most, especially since there are like... four or five time zones in the country, and it's all the way across the world."

Tsukiko started nibbling on a brownie as he listened and only stopped munching on the delicious chunk of chocolatey goodness to gulp down some milk. Oh, and he also let out a sympathetic whistle. Yeah. "Wow. Must be tough." He nodded here then stuffed the rest of the brownie in his mouth. Chew, chew, chew. Gulp. Grab bottle of milk, gulp. "I'm glad that I'm not popular enough to do those sort of things. I could do a small tour of Japan if I wanted to but that would only put me in Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama and maybe Kyoto. I have a few fans there..."
Yeah, Tsukiko wasn't exactly very popular; even for an Utauloid. Besides, he wasn't really the type that wanted to be popular. He liked his fans and sometimes wished he had more of them but he loved his freedom even more. Though it might be nice to have a more music-focused career instead of all the other jobs he had with music as a side job.

Gumi yawned and looked sleepily over at her current companion. He really didn't understand how tiring it was to be as popular a Vocaloid as she was. She was on par to Miku on some music charts, despite being two years younger than the other Vocaloid. She let out a yawn before leaning back into the couch, her eyes wandering up to the ceiling above her. She was tired, but she enjoyed talking to people so she couldn't complain much. She had hoped that someone that lived in the house was actually there to greet her though.
"Yes, it is very tough. Maybe I should have asked someone to come along with me, make the stresses shared between the two of us.....that reminds me, I need find out if I'm scheduled to perform in the next concert here. I don't even know when the next one is, I did not really pay much attention while I was away..." her voice trailed off, glitching slightly on the last syllable. The addition of her English voice at the beginning of the year had resulted in her Japanese glitching on her every now and again. It didn't happen too often, but it still annoyed her.
